Membership Critera
In general, our current membership focus is:
- Fortune 500 or equivalent organizations: metro-Atlanta based headquarters or large divisions when the headquarters is outside metro-Atlanta
The individuals considered for membership are the CHRO and enterprise head of talent. Special consideration may be given to one or more select members of the HRLT who have demonstrated strategic responsibility, have broad HR generalist strategic responsibilities, or who have strategic OD/OE/DEI/talent management and/or learning responsibilities in their current role.
- Large organizations: more than 5,000 employees, metro-Atlanta based headquarters or large divisions when the headquarters is outside metro-Atlanta
The individuals considered for membership are the top HR and talent executives who have demonstrated strategic responsibility, have broad HR generalist strategic responsibilities, or strategic OD/OE/DEI/talent management and/or learning responsibilities in their current or previous role. Special consideration may be given to one or more select members of the HRLT who have demonstrated strategic responsibility, have broad HR generalist strategic responsibilities, or who have strategic OD/OE/DEI/talent management and/or learning responsibilities in their current role. Consideration is only given if the individual is recommended by and reporting directly to the CHRO.
- Medium organizations: between 1,000 – 5,000 employees, with metro-Atlanta based headquarters or large divisions when the headquarters is outside metro-Atlanta
The individuals considered for membership are the top HR and talent executives who have demonstrated strategic responsibility, have broad HR generalist strategic responsibilities, or strategic OD/OE/DEI/talent management and/or learning responsibilities in their current or previous role.
- Small organizations: 500 – 1,000 employees, with metro-Atlanta based headquarters or large divisions when the headquarters is outside metro-Atlanta
The only individual considered for membership is the top HR executive, and they must have demonstrated strategic HR responsibility in their current or previous role.
- Service provider membership consists of individuals representing organizations that provide human resources products and/or services to businesses. Applications are considered based on company profiles and available opportunities for sponsorship/partnerships. Service provider members are required to participate as a sponsor/partner before they can join and once every 48 months to maintain their membership in the organization.
Note: Our bylaws require that at least 80% of our membership consist of corporate members, limiting availability for service providers.
Membership Fees
An individual annual membership is for one calendar year (January 1st through December 31st) and includes the member's attendance at all HRLF events. Once your application is received and reviewed by the membership committee, you will be contacted via e-mail regarding your application status. If accepted, you will be invoiced for the annual membership fee.
