HRLF Lean HR & Small Cap Roundtable Meeting
May 18, 2022
Attracting & Retaining Talent During the Great Resignation for Lean HR & Small-Cap Organizations
Facilitated discussion
The COVID-19 pandemic set off a domino effect of events that delivered a hard blow to the US labor market. Employers are now in a wage war for talent and have to do more with less in many situations. The so-called Great Resignation is at an all-time high amongst private sector employers and employees have abandoned their office cubicles for remote work. People are seeking employers that now relate to them, aligns with their personal beliefs, and provides a good company culture. Due to this, organizations have to develop a new talent management strategy and make sure that it is re-evaluated more frequently to secure and retain talent.
Small-Cap organizations are experiencing difficulty during this time trying to compete with Fortune 500 companies for top talent in a limited labor market. This session will evaluate the impact of inflation on small-cap organizations and how focusing on mental health & wellness can minimize employee turnover. Love Pop and Murrelektronik will be used as case studies, as David Ellis and Tiffany Dilworth share some Lean HR management strategies that can leave an everlasting impression on your C-suite and improve your company culture.
